Based on the traditional An Giang fishing boats we are offering you new luxurious houseboats for private and exclusive tours through the Mekong delta. The vessels, built by local craftsmen, are made of local woods decorated with elegant carvings for a special touch. To provide your safety and well-being, our staff on board (captain, sailor, chef, tour guide) is at your constant disposition. The guest area (40 sqm) has a luxurious cabin (double or twin occupancy) with a French balcony, air-con, a private bathroom, a panoramic lounge with French balconies and a sun deck at the bow. On request, the salon can be changed into an additional bedroom with two beds. The staff area, with a well equipped kitchen, is at the back of the ship. This area is completely separated from the guest area by a lockable door to ensure your privacy.
After breakfast and an early start through the glorious morning atmosphere on the Mekong river. In Can Tho we will visit the floating market of Cai Rang. In Cai Be will will explore the delta by foot or with a small sampan. Be sure not to miss the great photo opportunities for authentic snapshots of the Mekong people and their life. Take another sampan side trip right into the lush rural landscape, the fertile fields, the exuberant green. Then it’s time to pack up and return to the pier from which we started. The Mekong Delta cruise boat tour ends at around 11.00 — 11.30h on the pier.

We were picked up at our hotel ready for a 4 hour drive to meet our crew and boat. On arrival our guide and waiter Dave met us and provided an orientation of the boat. Our cabin had a king size bed (2 king singles pushed together) allowing for twin bedding if required. A large bathroom with toilet and shower was attached to the room. The shower was dirty and mould visible on the shower curtain. Meals were amazing! 4 course lunches and dinners and all very fresh food from local markets. Breakfasts included choice of eggs and fruit. Beverages could be bought onboard but wine was very expensive ranging from 550000 dong up. Dave our guide, lead us everywhere and was very informative about his home land. He provided a wealth of knowledge and was very helpful throughout the tour. For the price range, the level of service was outstanding and can recommend to anyone who is visiting Saigon and the Mekong Delta.
Prefect...Awesome....Fantastic We spent 3 days 2 nights on Mekong Eyes 2 and it was the prefect way to Cruz the Mekong. 3 Adults & 1 4 year old and we all loved it. The food was amazing and the crew were awesome. Everything was done so well from the walk through the village, to the floating markets & the bike ride was great. We even visited a small family farm and had afternoon tea there. Relaxing on the boat watching the world pass by was a great way to chill out with a Cocktail in hand. Get up early and watch the sun rise, well worth it. Thanks Mekong Eyes for a fantastic time. Well worth doing. 10 out of 10.
Took a two night cruise from Can Tho (starts and ends there) on the rivers and canals of the Mekong Delta. It is a wonderful experience. My favorite part was just sitting and watching the boats on the river, life on the shore, and the storms come in. We had several shore excursions, but some were cut short or cancelled because of heavy rain storms. We had cooking lessons on board instead. The crew is excellent and attentive, but not intrusive. The food was Vietnamese, which I loved. But let the crew know ahead of time if you have dislikes or dietary restrictions. One person did not like coriander (cilantro), which is a common ingredient in Vietnam. They are extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions. There were people with celiac and vegetarians who got special dishes. Most of the common areas are not air conditioned so it can get hot and sticky. There are fans in the dining room. You cabin is very well air conditioned, so you can find relief there. The cabins are small, but very nice. Beds were very comfortable. I found the washroom to be very big and functional. I look forward to returning to Vietnam and taking a longer trip on one of their cruises.
We spent April travelling in Vietnam and this was our top experience. We really could not praise it enough. From the collection point in Can Tho to drop off in Chau Doc our trip was a superb experience. Organisation was impeccable, meals of gourmet quality, service just right, and the experiences - villages, orchards, the Mekong itself, tributaries and canals, sampan tours, seeing Viet Cong encampments, Would love to some kind of repeat !! Very, very well done Gecko Eyes and particularly well done to Ching our very capable, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly Guide
