My family and I had a great time onboard Paradise Elegance 2 with Ryan and his team. The children were very well taken care of, the rooms were well appointed and super comfortable. We were worried about sea sickness but worries unfounded because it was very stable. Didn’t even feel like we were on the water! Great views throughout and we enjoyed a lot of the activities offered.
My family of three boarded the Paradise Luxury Cruise on an overnight cruise along Halong Bay. Our van dropped us off for check-in at a big and clean reception area within a cafe. We were greeted by staff who were all smiles and helpful. Our bags were tagged and carried away to be shuttled to the boat. We waited to depart seated on comfortable seats and air-conditioned cafe (as it was hot and humid - 35 degrees outside), so we gladly welcomed the air conditioning. As we waited, I got to chat with the General Manager, Mr Edgar who talked passionately about Paradise Cruise boats. You could feel his pleasure and love for his work so I was getting a good vibe already for our cruise to start. We finally entered our Paradise Luxury Cruise, an old junk boat that had so much character, the rose wood finishing on bedroom furniture. On top of the bed were traditional Vietnamese clothing made of luxurious silk that we could use during dinner. The managers Mr Jon and Mr Jerome were both very energetic and were very personable. They talked kindly to the young children around, bending down to the child's eye level so that the child does not get intimidated by their height. We were also welcomed by a Vietnamese dance by the every smiling Janda, soft spoken Leo and ever ready Wahyu. There was a wide spread of food during each meal and they were all delicious. I loved the cooking lesson too, it was a quick and simple meal to prepare. This is a taste of Vietnam I could take with me wherever I go. We also had a Tai Chi lesson that we all enjoyed. The other staff of the luxury cruise who took us to the cave and for a swim were always making sure that we were well looked after, making sure we put on our vests while in the small boats. The cave is a must-see for everyone but not recommended for very young, old and disabled as there are around 700 steps from start to finish. The first part of the walk was a bit steep but after you get through with that, it was a gentle walk through. What a spectacular scene when you get inside.
Anna and ryan was so kind and everyrhing was perfect we will come back again thank you so much guys i love it
We have booked through a local travel agency here in Melbourne for our 30th wedding anniversary to celebrate in Vietnam and part of our itinerary is to visit Halong Bay. There is no regret in choosing this trip because the sceneries were very delightful in our eyes. The magnificent karst limestone mountains and the perfect sunset and sunrise made it more stunning. We were on Paradise Elegance 1, one of the steel ships of Paradise Cruise. I may say that this ship is modern amongst other vessels of the company. It has a touch of French style and everything is well-appointed. The excursions will keep you busy exploring the beauty of the bay. There are also onboard activities like cooking class, tai chi, squid fishing and band playing during late afternoon and after the dinner. Salute to Mr. Lee the Cruise Director, for giving us a warm welcome and always making sure that all passengers are satisfied and having fun. Your sense of humor made us feel at home and I hope you will be always at your best. Thank you also to all the members of the Paradise Elegance 1 because without all of you, it will not be the number ship. You all are doing your best and keep it like that. Thanks for the experience and wonderful memories. I am looking forward for our next trip in Vietnam. definitely the highlight of our trip.
