The gracious Ginger will be Heritage Line’s new vessel cruising the Lan Ha Bay, which is a tranquil part of the famous Halong Bay in Vietnam. Ginger hosts only 12 large suites, all naturally light-flooded and with well-sized balcony. There will be two Regent Suites in the highest room category. Additional four Signature Suites and six Junior Suites complete the suite only vessel. Ginger expresses her elegance with warm timber floors, marble bathrooms and distinguished design themes that interlace the long-lasting traditions of Northern Vietnam paired with contemporary accents. Ginger’s uniqueness is expressed with a special culinary theme as well as a refreshing lifestyle atmosphere. The terrace deck is a marvelous public area. An almost 360-degree light-flooded restaurant offering live cooking is framed by an outdoor alfresco area. An indoor bar corner invites to relax before or after dinner. The most exclusive facility is Ginger’s pool on the terrace deck. Surrounded by comfortable shaded sunbeds, the views from the pool are spectacular. So are the views from the spa rooms in the stern of the ship – one VIP spa room comes with steam bath. Combine relaxing spa treatments with dramatic outlooks through floor to ceiling glass windows on the bay.

We had a wonderful 24 hours in Halong Bay aboard the Jasmine, a beautiful timber vessel. The ship was beautifully presented, very comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and professional and really seemed to have a passion for their work. the food on board was very nice and there was plenty of it. The cruise itself was amazing, awesome scenery around every corner. With so much to take in, you could easily do the two night cruise and not be bored.
Heavenly experience. Everything was more than we expected. The staff, cabin, crew, food, kayak, swimming..
We went on Ylan, it´s brand new, only started a couple weeks ago, and it was the best! The constant view of the montains of Halong Bay was the absolute best! The comfort and luxury were impecable and so was the staff, all so kind and helpfull, specially Joy and Tom. The food was exquisite. The tours on bike and car were amazing and the afternoon with the kayakes was memorable! Highly recomend if you want to discover Halong Bay!
We did the 1-night stay on the Ginger that tours around Cat Ba Island. Opted for Cat Ba since I've read that it is mch less crowded than some of the other island destinations. We saw a few other boats but not too many. The Ginger is a relatively new ship. The accommodations were gorgeous and large -- surpassed our expectations. We had one of the two suites so sitting area, bedroom and large bathroom is a huge circular jet bathtub that looked out onto the water. The staff was great and the food very good. My two daughters and I enjoyed the cooking class. The highlight be far was simply kayaking and swimming -- was just incredibly serene and peaceful. Water was such a spectacular emerald green color, calm and warm. I just floated on my back and took it all in. Great overnight. My feeling is one night is enough. Overall, absolutely worth the visit and glad we chose the Ginger (Cat Ba)!
